* Review and validate technical requirements on purchase orders to ensure alignment with engineering drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
* Track, document, and report procurement status for active projects, including delivery timelines, long-lead items, and cost performance.
* Actively manage supplier performance, including expediting critical materials, resolving quality issues, and supporting warranty and claim resolution.

* Assist with the ordering of ad hoc office supplies and other non-project materials as instructed.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical equipment and components.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software; comfort working with cost models and technical documentation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
* Willingness to safely navigate industrial and field environments while using appropriate PPE.
* Other duties as assigned.

Strategic Focus Areas:

* Technical Leadership: Apply deep electrical knowledge to support engineering decisions, reduce risk, and ensure correct equipment selection.
* Cost & Schedule Control: Proactively manage long-lead electrical components to protect project schedules and margins.
* Supplier Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key electrical vendors to improve pricing, lead times, and technical support.
* Operational Alignment: Work closely with Project Engineering, Operations, and Field Services to ensure procurement decisions align with execution realities.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Minimum of 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, with at least 3 years focused on electrical equipment or power systems.

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Experience supporting EPC, industrial power, drilling, or energy-related projects.
* Familiarity with procurement of integrated electrical systems and long-lead capital equipment.
