The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Cell Therapy and Synthetic Immunity Department Summary Computational sciences Center of Excellence (CS-CoE) is a strategic, unified group whose goal is to harness the transformative power of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist our scientists to deliver innovative and transformative medicines for patients worldwide. The Cell Therapy and Synthetic Immunity group within CS-CoE addresses computational challenges associated with immunotherapies that primarily utilizes cell and gene therapy. One aspect of these efforts is genomic sequence analysis and optimization, especially in the context of gene regulatory sites. The candidate will join a team of scientists working to adapt established and cutting edge AI/ML sequence analysis approaches to internal efforts to optimize gene expression by manipulating regulatory elements. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
