The Video Security & Access Control group at Motorola Solutions designs, develops, and manufactures video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers. As a VS&A Sales Engineering Intern, you will be at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and strategic business development. You will act as a junior subject matter expert, helping to solve challenges for customers looking to protect their people, property, and business interests. Working closely with our seasoned sales teams and channel partners, you will learn to leverage Motorola Solutions' industry-leading public safety and physical security technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the sales team by identifying technical requirements and offering solution expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop the ability to deliver exceptional product demonstrations and compelling technical presentations to diverse audiences.

  • Contribute to the creation of system designs, including quoting, bill of materials (BOM) development, and adherence to best-practice system architectures.

  • Aid in the development of technical product knowledge and sales enablement resources for our channel partners.

  • Produce technical assets such as training modules, instructional videos, and technical documentation.

  • Facilitate communication between customers and the Product Management teams by accurately documenting and relaying field feedback.

  • Actively participate in internal training initiatives to gain mastery of MSI products, cloud technologies, and current industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong interest in Cloud/SaaS technologies, IP networking architecture, storage environments, and cybersecurity principles.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex technical subjects clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities, complemented by a proactive and resourceful approach to technical challenges.

  • A self-motivated individual who actively seeks out project involvement and is proficient in functioning both autonomously and as an engaged member of a collaborative team.

  • Highly organized with the demonstrated ability to manage priorities effectively and adhere to deadlines within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Prior familiarity with Motorola Solutions (MSI) Video Security & Analytics (VS&A) products or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS/Azure, Security) is highly advantageous.

Basic Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
