Purpose/Summary: Training responsibilities will focus on newly hired associates, however the trainer will also be expected to cross-train and provide refresher training as needed or as requested by Leadership. During periods where no training is required, the DC Trainer will perform other duties as assigned within the DC Operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities includes the information below. Management reserves the right to assign other duties as needed:

* Confer with AM/Ops Manager and Leadership team on an ongoing basis to assess training needs.

* Responsible for Pick/Pack/Replenishment training for both 01 and 04 sides of the DC. Ability to train and oversee an average of 3-4 hires weekly.

* Select and obtain all resources necessary to perform successful training activities. QRG signoff/review and QRG Assessment testing to ensure associate is on track with training.

* Communication on productivity progression scale for weeks 1-4. Demonstrate and train to pace of work needed to obtain rates accordingly.

* Check QRG Standards with trained associates to assure they continue to consistently follow the processes taught and if there is deviation from QRG. Schedule time to work with that associate to realign associate with the correct process. Identify any obstacles or trends that are creating obstacles in performing excellent results.

* Assist employee in identifying any road-blacks to his/her productivity and assist in closing training gaps.

* Maintain training records.

* Maintain confidentiality with employee paperwork and opportunities. Communicates any concerns about employee response to training to Leadership and/or HR as needed.

* Select and obtain all resources necessary to perform successful training activities

* Provide Employee Training progress reports to AM/Ops Manager when training is conducted to show the outcome of the training and any follow up meetings required.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience: 0-1 year in a related field

* Excellent communication skills ie., strong listening, coaching and ability to demonstrate how a process works and why it's important.

* Position requires good organizational skills and ability to maintain records.

* Must be able to adapt training style to deal with different levels of experience and understanding.

* Assist our training department in building QRG's and Training Curriculum.

* Able to read and interpret, QRG's and work instructions

* Able to effectively multi-task; able to maintain a training schedule.

* Must be adaptable and effective in dealing with scheduling changes that may occur.

* Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees

* Good computer skills and able to meet deadlines.

* Able to work overtime as needed to meet business needs

* Requires basic planning and organizational skills.

* Prior experience training and coaching is preferred

* Sense of urgency - always working on the next opportunity.

Educational and/or Training Requirements:

High School, General Education Degree (GED) or Equivalent

Supervision Required (How closely is this position supervised?):

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments

Physical Requirements:

Heavy physical activity: lifting, bending, carrying heavy materials, boxes, etc.

Required to perform all physical movements required to operate embroidery equipment (lift, squat, carry, reach bend). Required to lift and carry totes with products up to 50 pounds. Required to stand for long periods of time. Required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
