Qualified candidates will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview Post offer background and drug screenrequired Job Summary Our Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that products are produced in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. A Machine Operator has experience working in a food manufacturing environment and a commitment to quality and safety. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate and monitor production equipment following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that products are producedin accordance withproduction schedules and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, to ensure that machinesoperateat peak efficiency. Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to production equipment as needed to minimize downtime. Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearingappropriate personalprotective equipment (PPE), Lock Out Tag Outproceduresetc. Adhere to thecompanypolicies and practices. Monitor and report updates for the production process toidentifyand correct issues that may affectproduct quality or consistency. Maintainaccuraterecords of production activities, such as equipment performance and product yields. Communicate with other plant personnelregardingproduction schedules, equipment issues, and productquality. Participate in training programs to develop knowledge and skills related to production equipment andprocesses. Maintains a clean work area. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiencyof the English language (read, write, and speak English) Minimum of 2 years of experience operating production equipment in a food manufacturing environment Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating production equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and equipment monitoring. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to read, write, andcomprehendEnglish. Strong communicationskills with the ability to read and write. Assistwith all othertasks asassigned by plant management.
