Supporting Meaningful Work

Primary Responsibilities

  • -Lead and develop a culture of new business development and sales excellence in the NYC market.

  • -Build and maintain strong relationships with key NYC dealers (Empire, Waldners, AFD) and treat them as valued clients.

  • -Coach and mentor a team of CBMs and MMs to drive performance and growth.

  • -Engage in market networking and client development activities to expand Steelcase's presence.

  • -Manage existing accounts and oversee business reporting and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • -8+ years of sales experience in the contract furniture industry.

  • -Strong business acumen and ability to interpret and act on business reporting.

  • -Desire and ability to be outward-facing and highly engaged in the market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • -Experience working in the NYC market and understanding its unique dynamics.

  • -Leadership experience with a proven ability to coach and inspire teams.

  • -Strong relationships within the NYC dealer community and appreciation for their role as passionate partners.

  • -Experience with Steelcase regional sales reporting metrics.

  • -Familiarity with the New York market and key dealer and client relationships that can move business forward.

In compliance with New York City's Human Rights Law, the annual base salary range for this position is $190,900-$298,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
