Summary:

Intern Dates: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study; while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment. The Intern will gain networking opportunities that include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates. The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in Human Resources.

Responsibilities:


  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents and correcting any discrepancies.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and organize employee records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure seamless data flow and address any data-related issues.
  • With general guidance, ability to handle high volume onboarding and cross-boarding functions for both Clinical and Non-Clinical roles with a high level of accuracy.
  • With general guidance, ensure a high level of compliance surrounding hiring and Associate transition protocols with multiple systems to ensure success onboarding and cross boarding across the enterprise.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey information, expectations, and procedures to new hires, internal transfers and various departments within the organization.

Requirements:

Experience:


  • At least 2 years of college preparation towards major.

Education:


  • Currently enrolled in a College degree program in one of the following degree program; Business Administration or Management, with a focus in Human Resources preferred.
  • PC and Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others.
  • Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills.
  • Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
