About The Position

The Scheduler is responsible for integrating Surveillance Testing, Preventive Maintenance, Repetitive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Other Maintenance activities in their respective discipline (Mechanical/Welding, Electrical, I&C, etc.).

Key responsibilities:

Outage Scheduler

  • Maintain the schedule throughout Outage preparation and execution.
  • Sequence jobs/tasks through logic ties and assign Schedule Grades.
  • Normalize resource assignments based on availability and priority of work.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program through proper scheduling.
  • Attend Outage meetings to support sequencing activities and resolution of scheduling issues.
  • All Callaway positions assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties in accordance with Callaway Energy Center Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP), including responding to assigned ERO facilities within the required RERP response time.

Senior Outage Scheduler:

  • Develop schedules for planned outages and forced outages, and other Functional Equipment Group (FEG) outages as designated by Outage Management.
  • Maintain the schedule throughout the Milestone process.
  • Sequence jobs/tasks through logic ties.
  • Bundle work by FEG for efficiency.
  • Normalize resource assignments based on availability and priority of work.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program through proper scheduling.
  • Attend Outage meetings to support sequencing activities and resolution of scheduling issues.
  • Assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties in accordance with Callaway Energy Center Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP), including responding to assigned ERO facilities within the required RERP response time.
  • Senior Scheduler is expected to use experience and knowledge resulting from PMP certification to perform with greater ability and independence.
  • Specific duties in scheduling of refuel work associated with plant systems, including primary, secondary, and electrical and control systems - corrective, elective, preventive maintenance, surveillances, plant modifications, workman's protection and retests, considering plant conditions as well as all legal requirements.

Qualifications:

Outage Scheduler:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of directly relevant experience OR
  • Associate's Degree and 4 years of directly relevant experience OR
  • High School Diploma and 6 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Directly relevant experience above includes maintenance scheduling/planning, project scheduling, maintenance, operations, engineering, work management, etc. in a power plant environment or equivalent military, heavy industrial or manufacturing environment).

Senior Outage Scheduler:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of directly relevant experience OR
  • Associate's Degree and 7 years of directly relevant experience OR
  • High School Diploma and 9 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Directly relevant experience above includes maintenance scheduling/planning, project scheduling, maintenance, operations, engineering, work management, etc. in a power plant environment or equivalent military, heavy industrial or manufacturing environment).

Maintenance scheduling experience is preferred. Nuclear power plant experience is preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proficiency with EMPRV or other work management software is required. Use of Primavera or similar scheduling software is preferred. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred. Demonstrated ability to think in a logical sequence, work with multiple work groups, and to plan and prioritize assigned work required. Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.

Working Conditions

The Scheduler works a standard day shift in an office/plant environment. Callouts and working rotating or Outage schedules may be required to support plant operations.

Additional Information

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$84,400.00 - $162,900.00

* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
