What the day will look like

The Time Away & Life Solutions (TALS) Go to Market Leader is responsible for sales pipeline, training and development of colleagues regarding our value proposition, and market-facing branding in partnership with our Innovation & Integrated Solutions Go To Market Leader.

  • Lead sales and go-to-market effortsby responding to proposals and presenting at finalist meetings
  • Drive education, internal and external sales support across the practice. Create strategy for team members to drive sales through strategic positioning ofTALSservices
  • Work withTALScolleagues to articulate clear Aon service sets and value propositions,identifyconnections points across capabilities andsolutionsand build competence among sales resources to drive sales outside of their primary areas of expertise
  • Develop deep knowledge of Aon consulting capabilities and solutions to educate and represent solutions internally and externally to clients and client teams
  • Manages a pipeline of opportunity to understand goals, where we are missing, why are we winning/losing, driving the pipeline through the funnel, etc

How this opportunity is different

In our growing TALS Consulting Practice, this role will be responsible for leading a team of regionally focused TALS Strategy Leaders who are responsible for both selling services to existing clients as well overseeing the strategy and delivery of our projects.Our team focuses on National Account clients. With the evolving regulatory compliance within the leave industrythere is constant need for strategy development and cost modeling to ensure that clients remain compliant and competitive in the marketplace. This team is comprised of colleagues with different backgrounds and skillsets that collaborate to deliver for our clients. This leader will have the opportunity to integrate and innovate with other Aon specialty areas such as Health Transformation, Risk Safety and Casualty and Data Forensics and Intelligence subject matter experts.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Fifteen plus years of experience in Absence, Life and Disability plan design and administration
  • Demonstrated capability to generate new business and grow revenue
  • Ability to cultivate, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients and internal partners (Aon Account Executives, ECLs, HSAMs, etc.) to proactively identify needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Proven experience managing and coaching direct reports
  • In-depth understanding of current trends, dataanalysisand other complex issues
  • Strong project management experience
  • Advanced technical and consultative skills/expertise
  • Driving best practices by championing consistent processes, tools, and techniques for profitable delivery, continual improvement in quality standards to meet overall business goals

Education

Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent years of industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $250,000 to $275,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
