Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Position Summary

The Regulatory Compliance Associate supports core global compliance activities across Parker Lord's three divisions. This role focuses on maintaining accurate regulatory data, supporting safety datasheet (SDS) lifecycle processes, and assisting with global reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and skilled in Excel, with the ability to identify data gaps and ensure information accuracy. The Associate works with cross-functional partners and participates in structured cross-training to build redundancy across key programs.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Data and Documentation
  • Maintain regulatory data in SAP EH&S by updating required fields for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods, ensuring information is accurate and complete for SDS and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Utilize Excel to compare datasets, validate information, and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Support the SDS lifecycle by preparing data inputs, reviewing generated documents, and coordinating distribution of approved SDSs.
  • Assist with global inventory checks that support EU REACH, substance volume tracking, and related data requirements.
• Regulatory Reporting Support
  • Prepare datasets and documentation needed for regulatory filings.
  • Track reporting timelines, required updates and data submissions.
  • Organize and maintain regulatory records in an audit ready format.
• Process and Documentation Support
  • Follow established regulatory procedures and work instructions.
  • Provide recommendations to improve clarity, efficiency, or consistency in process documentation.
  • Support document control and version tracking for regulatory procedures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Global Trade, Transportation, and IT to ensure regulatory data supports product lifecycle workflows.
• Training and Cross Training
  • Participates in structured cross-training across three core regulatory areas to build functional depth:
    • Regulatory data systems and SDS processes.
    • Global chemical inventories and reporting.
    • Product labeling, regulatory declarations and customer compliance documentation.

* Organized, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Chemistry, Chemical/Materials Engineering, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, or related discipline).
• 0-3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, product stewardship, quality, or a closely related function; strong internship/co-op experience considered.
