Job Overview

The Predictive Cost Engineering Intern will maintain, improve, and document team processes related to predictive cost engineering.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain, upgrade and document team processes, especially cost estimate documents.
  • Modify and maintain previously built cost models
  • Create simplified CAD models based on existing production CAD models
  • Aid engineers in other projects and studies
  • Documentation of engineering related work where required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
  • CAD skills are not required however beneficial
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-starter, capable of working remotely with self-disciplined time management to complete tasks
  • Experience with data analysis, statistics, and BI dashboards; knowledge of Palantir/AI tools for business
  • Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), advanced Excel skills preferre
