As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, and support check in and/or badge processes. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership and dispatch. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization to enter restricted areas, and directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and/or alarms; document access activity and report unusual conditions per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and access logs; communicate handoff details to the next shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
