As a Security Officer - Armed Field Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and provide clear, professional customer service and communication to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document actions taken according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment, follow all licensing and use-of-force guidelines for an armed post, and communicate with site management and/or local law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• An Armed Guard Card and/or License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
