Temple University's College of Public Health is searching for an Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions!

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 to $61,000
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

*Must be available to travel regionally and nationally, as needed.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Graduate Admissions in the College of Public Health, the Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for the direct recruitment and enrollment of graduate students for an assigned portfolio of graduate programs; and serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students and applicants interested in these programs. The incumbent is accountable for the promotion of assigned graduate programs both nationally and internationally and collaborates closely with the Senior Associate Director of Admissions and Assistant Dean of Admissions to ensure target enrollment goals for assigned portfolio of programs are met. The Assistant Director is also responsible for the processing of applications for admissions in the College's WebAdmit system, including processing and receiving application documents, calculation of GPA's, ensuring all required application materials are received, and submitting applications into review for all programs' given admissions committees and/or admissions reviewers.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least three years' experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, recruitment or other directly related field.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
*Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with a
diverse group of students, staff and faculty.
*Excellent organization and time management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects
in a fast-paced environment.
*Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality with student records.
*Demonstrated ability to utilize an electronic student information system.
*Ability to travel regionally and nationally, as needed.
*Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.

Essential duties:
*Recruiting and yielding high caliber prospective domestic and international students for the portfolio of graduate programs
*Representing the College at regional and national recruitment events, on-campus open house and information sessions, and online webinars and chats
*Supporting the development and implementation of new recruitment tools and strategies to increase the prospective student pipeline and achieve application and enrollment goals
*Assisting in the planning and execution of various on-campus and off-campus events, including prospective student events and yield activities for admitted students
*Conducting information session presentations, and providing information about graduate admissions requirements and deadlines, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and curriculum requirements for graduate programs within portfolio
*Responding to inquiries from and providing outstanding service to prospective students and applicants
*Assessing prospective candidate leads, and building and maintaining relationships with candidates that span across the enrollment timeline, from inquiry to registration
*Monitoring and analyzing recruitment-related data and reports to identify progress and potential areas of focus or improvement at each stage of the admissions process; reporting and providing analysis and insights on admissions funnel and historical data to both CPH Admissions Team and faculty Graduate Program Directors
*Maintaining regular contact with applicants to inform them of any missing application credentials and providing necessary assistance to ensure applications are completed, and assisting with retention initiatives related to current graduate students.
*In addition, the Assistant Director will work closely with Graduate Program Directors to ensure that applications are reviewed, and admissions decisions are communicated in a timely fashion, and to devise new and innovative tactics to generate and convert quality leads
into enrolled students.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
