Stellar Solutions is seeking a motivated and self-starting Intern to join our team supporting NASA's Orion Program.

This position will work with the European Service Module (ESM) Integration team performing systems engineering activities in support of the Artemis III and IV missions. The Intern will assist with requirements development, systems architecture efforts, and cross-organizational coordination with partners including NASA, Lockheed Martin, and the European Space Agency (ESA) to ensure successful ESM integration and mission readiness.



Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Responsibilities
    Support systems engineering activities for the Orion ESM Integration team
  • Assist with requirements development, decomposition, and traceability
  • Support development and maintenance of system architectures and interfaces
  • Help analyze and improve ESM integration schedules and timelines
  • Assist in development of mission use cases and operational concepts
  • Participate in cross-functional coordination with NASA, Lockheed Martin, and ESA partners
  • Support technical reviews, briefings, and documentation
  • Track action items, risks, and technical decisions
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across integration processes
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Coursework or experience related to systems engineering or spacecraft integration preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Compensation

  • $28 per hour (USD) for Summer 2025 internship positions


Deliverable(s)

Work with the ESM Integration team to contribute to updated requirements sets, interface documentation, schedules, and mission use cases supporting Orion readiness for Artemis III and IV.
