Technical Onboarding Associate (Contractor)

Amplify is seeking full-time, remote, seasonal Associates to join our Technical Onboarding Team and play a crucial role in launching educators and students into a successful school year. Our Technical Onboarding Associates ensure schools and districts gain access to their digital products by auditing data, creating licenses, and granting permissions. This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical skills who excel at customer support and are eager to expand their knowledge in educational technology.

This is a contract role with an expected duration of April 13, 2026 - September 11, 2026, aligned with our peak season.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support a profile of customer accounts in the onboarding stage, ensuring all steps of the process are delivered by their respective deadlines.

• Facilitate a smooth onboarding process by coordinating digital product setup for new and existing customers.

• Monitor customer data sharing to ensure timely, complete, and accurate digital licensing.

• Adhere to all data privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements, including policies related to student and district information.

• Maintain clear, proactive, and responsive communication with customers and internal teams to support successful onboarding and troubleshooting.

• Utilize technical and analytical skills to research issues and deliver solutions for diverse implementation scenarios.

• Stay current on updates to data systems and technical processes, adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.

• Participate in collaborative and individual projects that support the overall Technical Onboarding Team's goals.

• Operate with empathy, active listening, and kindness to foster positive relationships with customers and internal partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or at least two years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Zoom and Google Suite, especially Google Sheets, Google Meet, and Google Docs.

• Experience and proficiency with macOS and Apple hardware/software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce (or other CRMs), JIRA, and Student Information Systems or similar databases.

• Familiarity with Clever and Classlink.

• Understanding of technology applications in the K-12 classroom.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Time commitment: Associates work 40 hours per week (including a 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minute breaks daily). Each associate works 5 days per week, which may include weekends. Upon hire, candidates can share scheduling preferences; once set, schedules are fixed.

Location: Remote (U.S. only). Candidates must have the legal authorization to work and reside in the U.S.

Availability: Full-time availability from April 13 - September 11, 2026, with peak workload from August 1- September 11. Time off requests during this period are limited to 2 consecutive days or 5 total days.

Online & Camera Policy: Associates must be online, available, and actively engaged throughout assigned shifts, with reliable high-speed internet and a professional, quiet workspace.Video presence is required for meetings, trainings, and customer calls, maintaining professional appearance and background

Equipment: Associates will be provided a MacBook, headset, and mouse.

Compliance: Working as a Technical Onboarding Associate must not violate school or district moonlighting/revolving door policies. Teaching or leasing roles at a school/district cannot coincide with this position.

Contract Employment: This role is a temporary, contingent position through a staffing agency. Employment beyond the contract period is not guaranteed and depends on business needs, performance, professionalism, and customer feedback.

Compensation: $25/hr for new associates, $26.50/hr for returning associates with 1 year of experience; $28/hr for returning associates with 2+ years of experience. Rates are non-negotiable to maintain equity.
