Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

The Sr. Business Admininstration Specialist is responsible for managing complex administrative tasks, financial activities, and project coordination with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient operations and supporting organizational goals. This role requires advanced knowledge of industry practices, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contributes to the completion of departmental and/or program projects and goals.
* Serves as liaison for administrative tasks with other functions such as Facilities, Security, IT, and HR.
* Responsible for financial and administrative responsibilities, including facilities, logistics, budgeting, report-ing, and coordination.
* Assists in establishing budgets, monitoring performance, status reporting, documentation, and pricing for proposals, with an emphasis on administration, planning, and tracking.
* Prepares, processes, monitors, and updates required reports and documents, including budgets, schedules, purchase requests, and forms.
* Contributes to, prepares, develops, and updates charts and graphics for presentations.
* Coordinates small projects to support the organization.
* Conducts analyses and provides meaningful recommendations from reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Advanced ability to grasp and apply new information quickly; handles more complex problems.
* Advanced application of finance concepts and principles.
* Advanced knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
* Proficient ability to work with internal and external auditors.
* Expense reporting system fluency.
* Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment, and professionally executes projects with little direction.
* Very solid knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
* Works under only very general supervision.
* Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results typically require a moderate allocation of resources to correct.

Target salary range: USD $81,352.00/Yr. - USD $88,025.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
