COE) and reports directly to the Dean, performs a primary economic development function for the state of NC by helping existing businesses industries better utilize current and emerging engineering, science, technology and industrial management approaches to improve their competitiveness.
IES applies knowledge, information, and education to provide resources that serve the interests of customers by enabling economic growth and development.
The Professional Learning unit of Industry Extension Services helps adult program participants maintain competencies and gain valuable new skills to accelerate career growth and improved business performance. |

| Essential Job Duties |
As a Registration and Logistics Coordinator, you will help Industry Extension Services (
IES) to expand its continuing education programs in all formats by coordinating course registration and logistics.
In this position you will administer all details of registration including establishing registration links, providing superior customer service to course participants, ordering and shipping course materials, preparing classrooms, printing course completion certificates, and assisting with course closeouts. It will also support the approval of any relevant course prerequisites, the administration of certificate programs, and support of online coursework in Moodle (or other
LMS as supported by NC State University). |
| Other Responsibilities |
- This position may supervise student interns in order to accomplish the administrative tasks of the Professional Learning unit.
- Occasional lifting of 10-40lbs may be needed to manage course materials.

Qualifications
| Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, or similar software
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills, and an ability to excel in a multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with, and providing support for, database and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with NC State REPORTER and Salesforce is a plus.
