SRCTec, LLCis actively searching for a dedicated Staff Test Engineer to design, develop, and rigorously test innovative solutions that tackle complex, nationally significant challenges. What You'll Do
  • Develop Advanced Test Solutions: Pioneer the creation of advanced manufacturing test systems tailored to radar surveillance, electronic warfare, and UAS technologies
  • Transition Products to Manufacturing: Apply sound test engineering and systems engineering principles to launch innovative designs into production
  • Influence Design for Test (DfT): Collaborate early with product design and R&D teams to understand design intent and promote DfX/DfT considerations that enable robust manufacturing and test solutions
  • Architect and Enhance Test Systems: Develop and customize test capabilities based on common platforms, while implementing hardware and software improvements to increase capability, reliability, and throughput
  • Automate Processes: Utilize languages such as LabVIEW and TestStand to automate test processes and improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Analyze and Leverage Data: Develop SQL queries and apply statistical and engineering tools (MATLAB, Minitab, etc.) to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges

  • Troubleshoot Complex Systems: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues within manufacturing test environments
  • Support Production Programs: Provide hands-on engineering support to factory and sustaining teams during new product introductions and ongoing production
  • Document and Maintain Records: Ensure test documentation, requirements, and records meet technical, quality, and schedule requirements
What You'll Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering technology, or related discipline
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
    • Knowledge of radar, RF, and electronic warfare systems
    • Understanding of how product requirements translate into manufacturing and test solutions
    • Exposure to design-for-test or manufacturing test requirements development is a plus
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of programming tools like LabVIEW or TestStand
    • Familiarity with databases and data management philosophies
    • Experience with structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
    • Demonstrated leadership potential, attention to detail, and ownership of technical work
    • Effective time management and organizational skills in a multi-project environment
Ways to Stand Out
  • Exposure to manufacturing or production test tools, fixtures, and hardware systems
  • Strong software capability in languages such as Python or Matlab
  • Received certifications in LabView (CLA, CLAD, CLD)
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurements, high-speed digital systems, or PCA-to-system-level testing
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $125,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
