ABX Supervisor-Crew Resources

Job Description:

The Crew Resources Supervisor will assume a leadership role in the crew scheduling, crew planning and flight training departments. This position will direct the teams to comply with the FAR's, meet on time performance and efficiency goals while adhering to the ABX Collective Bargaining Agreement. Responsible for coaching and training, leading recurrent training classes, managing the shift schedules and approving time off.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Supervise and assign daily, weekly and monthly work tasks.
  • Ensure checklists are up to date and complete daily.
  • Perform audits on crew assignments.
  • Monitor the crew exceptions that are not legal as per the FAR's and CBA compliance.
  • Work closely with System Control to prepare and recover from Irregular Operations.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork among all departments.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new Crew Schedulers, Crew Planners and Flight Training Schedulers
  • Schedule individual coaching sessions and developing a recurrent training program.
  • Able to perform Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning or Crew Training Scheduling tasks when necessary
  • Position may be required to work different shifts from time to time to ensure all departments have leadership available.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications & Experience:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work based on changing requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of aviation experience
  • Knowledge of aviation FAR's
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong Organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:



  • Previous experience in Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning or Flight Training
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration
  • Understand and familiar with FAR 121.500 subparts
  • Knowledge and familiarity with applying pilot CBAs
  • Familiarity with LSY Net Line and QTM
  • Previous experience with UKG
