Description and Requirements

The Director of Product Management for Lenovo's Server Portfolio leads the strategy, roadmap, and endtoend execution for mainstream rack and tower servers. This leader defines the product vision, drives competitive differentiation, and ensures successful crossfunctional delivery and market performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and own the product strategy and multiyear roadmap for mainstream rack and tower servers.
  • Translate customer, market, and technology insights into clear product requirements and investment priorities.
  • Ensure alignment with Lenovo and Infrastructure Solution Group(ISG) strategic objectives.
  • Partner closely with engineering, procurement, operations, sales, and commercial teams to deliver products on schedule and at target cost.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners on roadmap alignment, joint initiatives, and gotomarket plans.
  • Lead competitive analysis and drive positioning, messaging, and portfolio differentiation.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and longterm forecasts to support investment decisions.
  • Oversee launch readiness, pricing, quoting, order enablement, and full lifecycle management.
  • Build, lead, and develop a highperforming global product management team.

Global Collaboration Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with or leading teams in Asia.
  • Ability to support morning/evening meetings across time zones.
  • Strong crosscultural communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

Location Requirement:

  • Onsite role based at Lenovo Headquarters in Morrisville, NC.
  • Candidates outside the RaleighDurham area must be willing to relocate.
  • Occasional travel required: approximately 3-4 international and 3-4 domestic trips per year.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of enterprise product management experience.
  • Prior peoplemanagement experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and the enterprise IT market.
  • Excellent communication and executivelevel presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in core product marketing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing enterprise server products.
  • MBA.
  • Experience leading global, crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal influence and organizational leadership skills.
