The Enterprise IT Digital Workplace Director is a strategic leader responsible for shaping the vision, design, and delivery of associate-focused services at Jack Henry. This role oversees the development, optimization, and day-to-day management of the Digital Workplace, ensuring the organization leverages best in class practices supported by modern, scalable processes and tools. The Director will guide a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and champion an exceptional associate experience across the enterprise.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. Must be able to travel up to 20% for key events, meetings, trainings or conferences.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Directs a comprehensive product/service strategy from product/service conception and definition through end of life.
  • Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product/ service or group of products and services from product/ service definition and planning through implementation and release. Functions as a central resource with design, development, quality assurance, marketing and implementation as the product/service move through their lifecycle.
  • Creates and maintains the strategic vision and roadmap for services within scope of responsibility.
  • Responsible for leading Service Desk, On-site support, and Desktop Engineering.
  • Ensures overall operation and quality of service, and service continuity.
  • Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control.
  • Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
  • Provides direction, control and mentoring for Technical Product Managers under direction.
  • Completes people management functions including goal setting, performance appraisals, P&L management, budgeting, etc.
  • May oversee Project Management Office (PMO) activities.
  • Provides transparency into operations.
  • Ensuring that the team performance is in alignment with leadership expectations. Effectively managing to defined metrics and KPI's
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams.
  • Experience leading customer service teams.
  • Experience with organizational change management.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Able to direct the control, design, modification and planning of software products.
  • Able to create and implement product strategies that meet the needs of applicable industry.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills.
  • Able to lead and manage a professional team comprised of Technical Product Managers.
  • Superior knowledge of the financial industry as it relates to the product.
  • Superior knowledge of development and design for products in the financial industry.
  • Superior project management knowledge and abilities.
  • Superior knowledge of research procedures concerning development of new technologies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
