This is an 11-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.
What It's Like At T-Mobile Advertising Solutions, powered by Vistar Media, you'll be immersed in the fast-moving world of advertising technology. This summer internship offers hands-on experience building real platform solutions that power innovative media experiences. You'll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners while gaining exposure to how large-scale ad tech platforms are designed and built. You'll be supported by experienced mentors, included as a true member of the Engineering team, and encouraged to explore new technologies in a collaborative, Agile environment-all while being part of T-Mobile's Un-carrier culture. What You'll Do
Assist the Engineering team with day-to-day development work Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and other teams Participate in daily stand-ups and share meaningful progress updates Contribute to an internal-facing engineering project from concept through completion Write, test, and improve code using Python and/or TypeScript Participate in the code review process to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability Learn about the advertising technology ecosystem and modern software engineering practices
Key Responsibilities
Develop features and enhancements under the guidance of senior engineers Debug issues and help improve existing systems and workflows Apply programming fundamentals and software development lifecycle concepts Use Git and version control best practices to collaborate on code Communicate effectively with teammates in a fast-paced Agile environment Take ownership of assigned tasks while learning to work independently
What It Takes
Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python or TypeScript Familiarity with core programming concepts and the software development lifecycle Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Passion for innovation, learning new technologies, and hands-on development Experience building open-source projects or GitHub repositories is a strong plus Previous internship or work experience in an engineering role is preferred but not required Ability to work on-site in the Philadelphia office at least three days per week
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $26/hour to $47/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation. Never stop growing!
