Role Overview Position: Senior Tax Manager - Funds Department: Accounting Reporting to: Managing Director, Tax FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Bentonville, AR; Denver, CO Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Senior Tax Manager - Funds. The ideal teammate demonstrates advanced expertise in partnership taxation, alternative investments, and real estate structures while providing strategic leadership across complex tax compliance and planning activities. About the Position This role leads tax compliance, reporting, and planning efforts for the family office investment portfolio, including private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, fund of funds, and real estate partnerships. The position integrates deep technical tax knowledge with investment focused insight, supporting pass through entity filings, tax basis tracking, and K 1 analysis across a broad range of investment vehicles. The role also contributes to tax planning and research activities for individuals, trusts, and charitable entities in support of long term financial and philanthropic objectives. What you will do Provide senior level tax leadership for investment fund and real estate activities, oversee complex compliance and planning efforts, and advise internal partners on tax strategy and risk considerations.
