Job Title: Stock Clerks

Duration: Contract (6+ months)

Location: Albany, NY 12230

Payrate: $18.00-20.00/hr. on W2 (without benefits)

Work schedule: (Mon-Fri) 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job Description:

  • Prepping, packing and shipping of the following: 2026 Regents Field Tests/Pilot Tests, the Grade 5 and Grade 8 Science Field Tests; Grade 5 and Grade 8 Sciences paper-based examinations; Grade 5 and Grade 8 Sciences and Regents non-secure materials; the June 2026 Regents Examinations as well as the August 2026 Regents Examinations. They will also be receiving and unpacking lockboxes being returned from schools from all administrations.
  • Retrieving appropriate exam/materials packets as needed during testing cycle.
  • Packing lock boxes with appropriate Regents Examinations and non-secure materials based on the shipping notice(s) for each school.
  • Preparing and packing the 2026 Field Tests/Pilot Tests.
  • Scan FedEx labels into the Fed Ex machine so that we can track packages and weight of package.
  • Updating computer system with new data from school districts so that materials are sent to the appropriate school and address on record.
  • Organize said materials and examinations stored in TDU and label them.
  • File all shipping notices.


Required Skills:

  • Complex job that does require a unique set of skills, such as clerical, computer and labor.
  • Computer skills needed: Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move heavy lock boxes/cardboard boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet tight timelines. Respond to questions from the public about voting procedures, dates, locations, eligibility, registration, and identification requirements.
  • Provide information clearly, accurately, and in a professional manner.
  • Handle inbound calls and emails related to the election.
  • Record call details, track inquiries, and update voter information if required.
  • Use call tracking or CRM systems where applicable.
