Sorting Coordinator

Location: Acton, MA

Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $22.09 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sorting Coordinator to support on-site manufacturing operations at our Acton, MA facility. This role is responsible for performing visual inspections to ensure products meet defined sorting and quality requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or distribution environments and thrives in a regulated, quality-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform visual inspections of products to confirm conformance with sorting requirements
  • Accurately identify, sort, and report nonconforming materials
  • Communicate inspection results and issues with the Sort Leader or Supervisor
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines
  • Maintain accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail in all inspection activities
  • Support manufacturing, receiving, or distribution operations as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, receiving, or manufacturing support preferred
  • Medical device industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation, written communication, and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate within a team
  • Reliable attendance and consistent performance in an on-site work environment



Physical Requirements:



  • Proficient vision (corrective lenses acceptable)
