Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control by verifying credentials and badges, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrol rounds, checking doors, gates, and common areas for irregular conditions and reporting concerns through the designated chain of command.
• Complete required reports and activity logs, communicate with site contacts and/or public partners as needed, and assist with crowd and line management during higher-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
