Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. You will engage staff, visitors, and patients with strong customer service and clear communication while supporting incident response as needed. With an armed guard card or license, you will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, donors, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying authorization, checking credentials as required, and documenting entries and/or exits per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
