Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and operationally minded Principal Executive Assistant to support the Chief People Officer (CPO) and serve as a key connector across the executive leadership team. This role is designed for a strategic, detailoriented professional who will be responsible for creating order, driving operational excellence, and ensuring priorities remain aligned, timelines are met and team leaders stay on course. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment, has exceptional communication and organizational skills, and is equally comfortable handling highlevel executive projects and daytoday administrative tasks. Approaches work with a hands-on mindset and a strong sense of ownership, regardless of scope or complexity.

Executive Support & Operational Leadership



  • Serve as the primary partner to the CPO, anticipating needs, managing priorities, and ensuring seamless daytoday operations.
  • Drive followthrough on decisions, action items, and projects to ensure clarity, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Can act as an extension of the CPO in meetings and communications for coordination across teams.


Presentation Development & Communication



  • Create highquality presentations, reports, executive team and boardlevel materials that clearly communicate complex information. PowerPoint and Excel at a minimum.
  • Draft executive communications, talking points, and internal updates as needed.


Calendar, Travel & Logistics Management



  • Manage complex, dynamic calendars and prioritize scheduling needs for the CPO.
  • Coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations, and detailed briefings to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Plan and execute internal and external meetings, events, and engagements.


Administrative Excellence



  • Oversee traditional executive administrative activities, including expense reports, document management, and contract routing.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external partners on behalf of the CPO.
  • Continuously refine and improve administrative and operational processes.


Other Responsibilities



  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; and
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent skill based experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives;
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information. This cannot be overstated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both strategically and tactically; comfortable switching between bigpicture thinking and detailed execution.
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$95,800 $110,000 USD

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3). Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as a condition of employment. (This is only applicable for US-based positions)
