Description North Carolina Surgery is seeking a full-time BE/BC Plastic Surgeon to join their growing Plastic Surgery team with a focus on Breast Reconstruction. A strong interest in reconstructive plastic surgery and community-based plastic surgery is highly desirable. Opportunity: *Focus of practice will be implant based and oncoplastic breast reconstruction with opportunity for cosmetic and general reconstruction, no microsurgical reconstruction *Opportunity for development of malignant soft tissue reconstructive practice as well as post bariatric body contouring as well *Robust referral base supporting a high-volume breast reconstruction practice with continued growth anticipated *Based in Raleigh with coverage of UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospitals and surgeries performed at UNC Rex Hospitals *Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. *Demonstrated experience in reconstructive plastic surgery and breast reconstruction strongly preferred *Shared Weekend/Night Call coverage, predictable schedule with shared call and limited emergent trauma exposure *No teaching expectations Provided: *Competitive base salary with additional wRVU based Production Incentive Bonuses & quality incentives *Full benefits, paid malpractice, signing bonus, relocation assistance *Excellent retirement options *Continuing education, licensure, and dues allowance *EMR - EPIC Ideal Candidate: A collaborative, patient-centered BE/BC Plastic Surgeon with a passion for breast reconstruction, comfort working with multidisciplinary team approach, and interest in serving a diverse community-based patient population.
