What you will do

Johnson Controls is hiring a Project Coordinator for our Modeling and Simulation engineering team based out of New Freedom, PA. You will serve as the central coordination and projectmanagement lead for all modeling, simulation, and rating development efforts. This role provides team support functions and ensures consistency, structure, and visibility across global development activities. The Project Coordinator will partner closely with project and program teams, enabling engineering leaders to focus more on technical execution, problemsolving, and team development by removing the administrative and coordination workload.

This is a remote position for US based candidates. Candidates must be US citizens and/or permanent resident of the US.

How you will do it

  • Provide endtoend project management for all ModSim and rating development initiatives, functioning as a program manager for the organization's portfolio.

  • Maintain oversight of schedules, scope, resources, and deliverables across multiple concurrent efforts.

  • Support Agilealigned planning where beneficial, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and crossteam coordination.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project/program teams on all nontechnical topics, such as scoping, scheduling, and resource planning.

  • Coordinate information flow between engineering teams and broader program stakeholders to ensure alignment.

  • Assist teams with scope reviews, effort estimating, and resource planning to support accurate forecasting and prioritization.

  • Organize and maintain detailed project timelines for ModSim programs.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, summaries, and updates to project and program leadership.

  • Improve transparency around risks, dependencies, and milestones across global teams.

  • Participate in meetings across multiple time zones; flexibility is required to support collaboration with both USbased and Wuxi teams. Evening meeting availability may be necessary.

  • Enabling senior engineering leaders to dedicate more focused time to technical problemsolving, strategic development, and team leadership.

What you will do

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in project management supporting technical teams

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Ability to work across global teams and manage time zone differences

  • US Citizen and/or permanent resident

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
