Our client is seeking a hands-on, dependableFabrication Associateto support full-cycle pipe fabrication for fire suppression systems. This is anon-welding position, though candidates with welding school experience or recent graduates are welcome. The ideal worker is reliable, mechanically inclined, comfortable operating industrial machinery, and committed to growth within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in constructing sprinkler system components from raw pipe material.
• Measure and cut pipe using tape measures, band saws, torches, and related tools.
• Perform threading and beveling on Landis machines.
• Operate fabrication machinery, including saws, grooving machines, and universal welders (as needed).
• Move, bundle, and stage pipe materials throughout the pipe yard & shop.
• Assemble orders (both single sticks and bundles) and maintain organized work areas.
• Perform machine setup, adjustment, and routine maintenance following SOPs.
• Follow all fabrication, safety, and materialhandling procedures.
• Conduct forklift inspections and maintain equipment functionality.
• Support general shop work, including die checks, bundling, and assembly tasks.

Requirments:

• Minimum 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Machine operation experience (saws, groovers, welders, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication tools.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure; basic math proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to50 lbsand handle pipe/sheet metal throughout the shift.
• Strong work history with tenure-unless currently or recently in welding school.
• Willingness to rotate and train in all aspects of the shop.
• Teamfocused attitude with willingness to learn, crosstrain, and support shop needs.
• Ability to maintain results-driven performance in a fast-paced environment.
