Hartford, WI 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am Up to $30p/hr = $2 shift premium + $2,000 retention bonus Key Responsibilities: Produce simple to medium complexity parts and coordinate for transport Perform quality checks on parts using measuring tools (tape measure, protractor, caliper, height gauge) Interpret brake press formed dimensions and flat layouts for bend lines Work from blueprints to produce a finished product Load programs into brake press given a particular job May periodically be asked to work in other areas of the shop depending on production demand/flow Job Qualifications: Must have high school / GED or similar At least 6 months of prior Brake Press operator experience CNC experience and forklift/crane experience a plus Must demonstrate a high level of critical thinking, eye/hand coordination, and manual dexterity; possess a mechanical aptitude Must have some exposure to blueprints (forming, machining, or assembly drawings) Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, work orders, and customer specifications Basic math and measurement skills; able to accurately read a tape measure Able to meet the brake press operator production rate requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis As a Brake Must be able to continuously stand for all or most of a regular work shift, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
