Title: Information Technology - IT Project Management (PMO) Intern

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview: The IT Intern supporting IT Project Management (PMO) assists with IT project delivery by supporting planning, tracking, reporting, and governance activities across multiple initiatives.


Role Focus:
Project coordination, documentation, and governance support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with maintaining project schedules, action items, and status reports

* Support project documentation, templates, and meeting notes

* Help track risks, issues, and dependencies across projects

* Assist with milestone and deliverable reporting

* Observe and support project governance and review meetings

Skills Developed: Project coordination, documentation, risk tracking, PMO best practices.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required.

* Must be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

* Basic understanding of IT concepts, such as programming languages, database management, and cybersecurity

* Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to interact professionally with company personnel

* Adaptable to new technologies and new situations

* Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage your workload effectively

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong desire to learn and improve your skills

* Must be at least 18 years of age
