The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates imaging equipment and software proficiently, mostly nuclear medicine imaging equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires expertise in operating specialized equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards, all while prioritizing effective patient communication and safety. The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Position Details:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and required clinical hours have been completed. Experience: One (1) years of relevant experience. Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT (N); Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements: * Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. * Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. * Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
