Responsibilities

Much more available online at: https://bhbhospital.com/ The Patient Account Representative plays a key role in ensuring accurate account follow-up and efficient collection of outstanding balances. This position involves direct communication with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payors to resolve financial obligations while reconciling receivables and contractual agreements related to patient accounts.A deep understanding of the full revenue cycle is essential, including benefits verification, authorizations, claims and appeals, billing, and coding. Additionally, the Patient Account Representative may serve as a backup for the Financial Counselor position as needed, providing seamless support to the financial team.
