Security Officer - Unarmed Night Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Night Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and digital services location, you will patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and digital services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, workspaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing and badging, verifying authorization and directing individuals to appropriate areas per site procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and/or access records, and communicate relevant updates during post handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
