Unit Director Othopaedic/Neurospine/Orthospine Unit Full Time 87948BR Job Summary The Unit Director is responsible for the daily 24-hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the overall operations of the department & participates in decision making related to departmental functions. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $253,900 - $269,400 (Annual Rate). Staff provide exceptional patient-centered care to patients undergoing neurospine, orthospine and other orthopaedic surgeries. Types of surgery common on this unit include orthospine and neurospine procedures including laminectomy, discectomy, foraminotomy and spinal infusions, as well as some orthopaedic procedures such as soft tissue tumor removals. The unit focuses on cutting edge pain management modalities, evidence-based post-surgical interventions and advanced surgical interventions. Required Qualifications
