Low Voltage Project Manager - Structured Cabling

Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all project activities
  • Manage day?to?day tasks for assigned resources, ensuring timely completion and communicating obstacles
  • Alert Directors/Managers to issues impacting schedule, cost, or service quality
  • Provide project information to Directors/Managers and Project Owners/Sponsors for scope, technical, budget, and schedule decisions
  • Work with vendors based on project requirements
  • Manage vendors to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
  • Ensure communication and coordination across project teams and vendors
  • Document and manage all project requests and approvals
  • Develop, approve, and maintain project schedules, deliverables, and task requirements
  • Create and maintain project budgets, updating them as needed
  • Ensure updated project documentation including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Provide regular progress updates, including materials and manpower needs
  • Lead, train, and develop Technicians and Installers to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Conduct field training and enforce all safety requirements
  • Provide invoicing statements and related documents for approval
  • Evaluate work performed on telecommunications network design, construction, and maintenance
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for assigned areas
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Conduct customer needs assessments
  • Verify jobsite material deliveries and maintain accurate inventory
  • Perform other assigned duties



Requirements:


  • Experience managing commercial or industrial low?voltage projects
  • Strong understanding of project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
  • Ability to lead and train technicians and installers
  • Experience working with vendors, clients, and multi?disciplinary teams
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and system layouts
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of telecom and data systems
  • Ability to maintain safety compliance and enforce safety requirements
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel?toe boots)
