Position Title: Quality Control
Wage: $19.60/hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 5:45pm - 6:00am Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! Quality Control Responsibilities: - Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines are adhered to - Follow cleaning procedures using established benchmarks and SSOPs - Monitor wastewater production and reduction - Assist production areas in sanitation practices - Ensure compliance with production and industry standards (USFDA, NOP Organic) - Process tasks under the Pest Management Action Plan - Participate in monthly internal plant audits and Continuous Improvement teams Requirements for Quality Control: - 6-12 months experience in a quality control in a food processing environment preferred - Working knowledge of food safety and QA programs, such as HCCP, GMPs, and SPC. - Reliable transportation - A team approach to problem solving and implementation, as well as personal initiative and independent judgment are necessary. - Basic math skills required and proficiency in Microsoft Office - Able to communicate effectively and efficiently in English language, and understand directions, both verbally and written - Willing to be boom lift/man-lift certified, heights up to 30 ft. - Able to stand or sit for an 8 hour (or more) shift - Able to handle frequent twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending - Good hand dexterity and eyesight for visual inspection of part - Able to lift up to 60 lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
