About the Role

The UKG Director collaborates with UKG practice leadership and business development to lead the end-to-end UKG consulting services. This includes owning revenue, margin, client satisfaction, and the delivery quality of engagements. This leader drives enterprise sales, oversees engagement management and delivery execution, and scales the practice through repeatable methodologies and top-tier talent. The Director is accountable for both commercial outcomes (new bookings, cross-sell, renewals) and operational excellence (on-time delivery, utilization, quality).

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

  • Own annual bookings and revenue targets; facilitate the go-to-market plan for UKG services
  • Partner with UKG, RSM Business Development and other RSM teams to co-sell and expand market presence.
  • Drive account-based growth: land, adopt, expand, and renew strategies; build executive relationships to unlock multi-tower, multi-year engagements.
  • Define and refine service offerings, to meet market demand and improve win rates and margins.

Engagement Management

  • Establish and enforce engagement governance: scope control, change management, risk/issue management, and executive steering cadence.
  • Oversee portfolio health across all active projects; ensure delivery plans are realistic, staffed, and aligned to client outcomes.
  • Sponsor strategic accounts and complex programs; serve as executive escalation point to safeguard scope, timeline, and client satisfaction.

Delivery of Services

  • Ensure delivery excellence: on-time, on-budget implementations with measurable value realization for clients.
  • Institutionalize delivery frameworks, playbooks, and accelerators for UKG solutions
  • Strengthen PMO and QA functions, drive standardization in methodology, documentation, testing, and readiness.
  • Champion data governance, integrations, and change management best practices across implementations.

Practice Leadership & Operations

  • Build and develop a high-performing team (consulting, solution architecture, integrations, PMO, and managed services).
  • Manage forecast, utilization, margin, capacity planning, and billability; optimize resourcing and bench.
  • Implement measurable KPIs and dashboards; run weekly cadence (pipeline, bookings, delivery, risks, financials).
  • Participate in talent strategy: recruiting, onboarding, certification pathways, performance management, and career development.
  • Maintain compliance with contractual obligations, data privacy, and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years in professional services for enterprise software, with several years' experience owning revenue, delivery, and client success.
  • Deep experience with UKG Pro and UKG WFM across HCM, Payroll, and Workforce Management implementations.
  • Proven track record delivering multi-phase programs (global rollouts, complex integrations, change management).
  • Demonstrated success in building and closing complex services deals ($1M+), managing portfolios, and scaling practices.
  • Strong financial acumen (pricing, margin management, utilization).
  • Executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Private Equity/M&A advisory and transaction-related services delivery
  • Experience with UKG alliances and ecosystem partners
  • Familiarity with UKG certifications and product roadmap.
  • Background in managed services for UKG solutions.
  • Experience in industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, retail, manufacturing, public sector) with workforce management complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HRIS, IT, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the US and Canada

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
