Strict start date of 7/1/26. Funding for this appointment is supplied through a Fellowship from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation for two years. After the first year, the incumbent will report any discoveries or advances that this fellowship has enabled in year 1 (due 7/1/2027), and the success of that report will determine the continuation of funding for the second year.

Research and Experimentation

  • Design, conduct, and analyze experiments related to the core research project.
  • Develop new methodologies and optimize existing protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of results for publication and reporting.

  • Draft and revise scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to research proposals and progress reports for funding agencies.
