As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location where access control is key to daily operations. You will greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing vehicles and pedestrians to designated areas.
• Operate and monitor access control systems and related logs, documenting entries, exits, deliveries, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
