We are looking for a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our Iron River, MI Team! The Painter Blaster operates spray painting and blasting equipment to apply protective coatings to structural materials. Consistently maintains high quality, meets or exceeds routed hours and leads and demonstrates safety in the workplace. MAJOR DUTIES Must be able to apply all zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless and pressure pot or wire spray Operate blaster safely to production schedule and perform all general maintenance Prep parts according to shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning designated surfaces with no assistance Understands different types of paints and materials applied and how to mix Maintains the highest standards of quality Functions as team player with co-workers and mentor others Basic blueprints skills Ability to rebuild spray guns/paint pots and airless spray machine without assistance Must obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications Must properly utilize paint, environmental, and waste stream data sheets Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience as an Industrial Manufacturing Painter, Industrial Coatings Painter Blaster, or Automotive Painter strongly desired PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds Long periods of standing We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement and additional perks designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
