*Type:* ContracttoHire *About the Role* We are seeking a Project Manager to support building rearrangements, space reconfigurations, renovationrelated activities, and departmental moves across multiple facilities. This role focuses on coordinating design updates, managing construction activities, supporting vendor engagement, and ensuring project deliverables meet established facility and documentation standards. Strong facilities planning experience, handson CAD skills, and the ability to manage multistakeholder building changes are essential. *Primary Responsibilities* The Project Manager will prepare layouts of existing and proposed space configurations, including seating updates, furniture arrangements, capacity adjustments, and department relocations. Responsibilities include integrating feedback from internal teams, preparing bid documents, supporting material and equipment procurement, and coordinating bidder walkthroughs. The role participates in weekly coordination meetings and manages preconstruction planning, ensuring proper scheduling, contractor access, and safety expectations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring work progress to verify quality, schedule alignment, and safety compliance. The Project Manager provides weekly project updates and develops biweekly executive summaries. Additional duties include invoice review for accuracy and ensuring all asbuilt updates are accurately captured in AutoCAD, space management systems, and project documentation. *Qualifications & Skills* Candidates should have experience in facilities planning, architectural production, construction coordination, or related fields. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, including updating master drawings, integrating design changes, and maintaining CAD standards. Field verification and measurement experience are critical, along with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors. Preferred experience includes CAD file cleanup, preparing drawings for space management systems such as TRIRIGA, and polylining based on BOMA or modified standards. Familiarity with construction documents, design meetings, renovation workflows, and multifacility coordination is highly valued. Revit experience, LEED accreditation, and exposure to commercial, educational, or corporate environments are strong pluses. *Ideal **Background** Profile* This role aligns well with professionals experienced in: * Facilities planning and CAD administration * Architectural drafting and design (AutoCAD / Revit) * Construction administration for renovations or expansions * Space planning, field verification, and layout development * CAD standards management and document control *Education & Certifications (Preferred)* * Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline * A.A.S. in Architectural Technology or similar technical foundation * LEED accreditation * AutoCAD proficiency (v2020+) * TRIRIGA or similar spacemanagement platform experience * Revit familiarity *Soft Skills* * Strong communication and collaboration abilities * High attention to detail and organization * Ability to manage multiple active projects * Clear reporting and presentation skills * Problemsolver with strong followthrough *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
