On-site \| Thousand Oaks, CA \| Contract \| $22/hr We are seeking a dedicated Back Office Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care team in a fastpaced clinical environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on patient interaction, thrive within structured workflows, and excel in both clinical and administrative support functions. Key Responsibilities * Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other clinical information while maintaining strict confidentiality. * Room patients, prepare exam rooms, and ensure providers have the necessary tools and supplies. * Assist clinicians with examinations, procedures, and general patient care tasks. * Support administrative functions such as scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and record maintenance. * Use EMR/EHR systems to document encounters and update patient data. * Perform scribing tasks when required, accurately documenting provider-patient interactions. * Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked clinical spaces. * Provide excellent patient service with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail. * Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other operational tasks as needed.
