As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will drive the team's long-term vision through high-level ownership of a strategic account portfolio. You'll be responsible for identifying market trends, negotiating complex commercial solutions, and fostering key relationships with government and industry partners. Beyond your portfolio, you will act as a mentor to junior colleagues, guiding their professional growth and contributing to the team's shared development strategy.

  • Mentoring and guiding 1 or 2 junior colleagues to support their professional growth.

  • Steward a broader portfolio of accounts and projects, ensuring continued success and alignment.

  • Enjoy a high level of ownership and trust in guiding the direction of your work while making significant strategic contributions to the team's vision.

  • Explore and evaluate market positions, competitors' databases, and emerging trends. Support the team in defining long-term objectives and shared development plans.

  • Implement development plans and identify new opportunities for growth. Cultivate meaningful relationships with customers, networks, and government agencies. Contribute to the development of marketing activities and materials.

  • Understand customer needs to develop collaborative technical and commercial solutions. Facilitate the decision-making process and prepare thoughtful project proposals. Guide negotiations to reach mutually beneficial contractual agreements. Provide dedicated support throughout project execution.

  • Nurture relationships with strategic and key customers. Stay updated on customer situations to continuously improve the overall customer experience.

  • Support the Account Manager in sustaining long-term partnerships. Build alignment and foster understanding when challenges arise. Ensure consistent contract follow-up and advocate for the continued loyalty of the Air Liquide customer community.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is the foundation for this role.

  • We are looking for a professional with extensive experience (ideally around 7 years) in B2B sales or business development

  • A deep understanding of our company's offerings, target markets, and the competitive landscape is highly valued and will help you excel in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience preferably within the industrial gas or a related industry. We value a demonstrated success in advancing and achieving business development goals.

  • Experience in empowering and developing teams is a highly welcomed contribution to our leadership group.
