Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Content Specialist - Videographer to join a newly formed, cutting-edge multimedia content team dedicated to enhancing Mizzou Athletics' digital presence. This team will serve three primary purposes: 1. Developing high-impact digital content to promote Mizzou Athletics through storytelling, marketing, fundraising, and major department initiatives. The videographer specialist will report directly to the Creative Director and work collaboratively with internal units and external partners to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver video content that reflects the excellence, energy, and competitiveness of Mizzou Athletics. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, shoot, and produce compelling video-first content, including long-form and short-form that support marketing initiatives, sponsorship campaigns and departmental storytelling while maintaining Mizzou's brand standards. Capture and edit high-quality, dynamic video content optimized for digital and social media platforms, ensuring strong visual impact, pacing and narrative clarity. Create engaging video stories that showcase the reach, influence and success of Mizzou Athletics, its corporate partners and its student-athletes. Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, marketing staff, corporate sponsorship team and student-athletes to plan and execute cohesive video content strategies from pre-production through delivery. Monitor emerging video, social and digital media trends, adapting techniques, formats and workflows to keep Mizzou Athletics at the leading edge of visual storytelling. Optimize video content for social platforms, digital advertising, and official Mizzou Athletics channels to maximize reach, engagement and performance across audiences. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with a college or professional sports creative department is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
