The Opportunity


We're looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to own complex, high-volume invoicing across multiple subsidiaries. This is a trusted, hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into agreements, solving billing puzzles, and ensuring customers receive accurate, timely invoices.


You'll be a key partner to Sales, Finance, and Operations helping keep revenue flowing smoothly while improving how we work.


Located at our Annapolis, MD office | Hybrid


What You'll Do


Own End-to-End Invoicing



  • Prepare, process, and distribute high-volume invoices across multiple entities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure invoices align with customer agreements, pricing, and billing terms


Solve & Support



  • Investigate and resolve moderate to complex billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
  • Manage billing-related cases through the support management system with minimal escalation


Collaborate & Improve



  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure clean data and smooth billing cycles
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing workflows, documentation, and processes


Close & Reporting



  • Complete assigned month-end billing close tasks and reporting


Be a Team Resource



  • Provide day-to-day guidance to Billing Specialist I team members as needed
  • Support special projects and process initiatives led by management


What You Bring



  • 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations in a high-volume environment
  • Experience invoicing across multiple entities or business units
  • Strong ability to interpret customer agreements and apply billing terms accurately
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems; NetSuite and Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Clear, professional communication skills and strong attention to detail
