Role Overview:
As an SDR Apprentice at Salesforce, you aren't just starting a career in sales. You are joining the #1 AI CRM to redefine how business is done. This role is a unique hybrid of sales development and operational efficiency. You will be the operational excellence of our SMB (Small & Medium Business) team, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to streamline workflows while building the foundational skills to become a world-class Sales Development Representative.

The Salesforce SDR Apprentice Program is a fast-track, high-impact initiative. You will work at the intersection of human creativity and Agentic AI, learning to use our Customer 360 platform to identify opportunities, optimize lead flows, and drive growth for our customers.

Career Acceleration: Successful completion of this 3-5 month program positions you to advance to the Sales Development Representative role, equipped with a technical and operational edge that sets you apart in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline internal workflows and business processes, leveraging AI-powered insights to ensure the SDR organization operates at peak productivity.
  • Pipeline Development: Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events using the Customer 360 platform and AI tools to prioritize high-potential SMB opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Orchestrate prospecting activity and lead conversion within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity fuels our AI models and sales forecasting.
  • Strategic Research: Understand intent signals of target accounts using Salesforce's AI-driven intelligence to identify key stakeholders and craft data-backed outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Driven: A clear desire to build a long term career in professional sales and a passion for mastering the #1 AI CRM. Previous internship or work experience in sales is a plus.
  • Resilient and Goal Oriented: A high level of accountability toward hitting targets and the resilience to remain positive through the challenges of high volume outreach.
  • Operational Problem Solver: A natural ability to break down complex challenges and develop efficient step by step technical solutions.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to convey complex value propositions clearly and professionally.

The typical base salary range for this position is $63,200 - $63,200 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $69,500 - $69,500 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
